That's a Wrap!

Merry Christmas to All!

"What an amazing 12 days of Christmas we had! It was so exciting to shop for gifts, pick out special items from our gift shop, wrap each one, and hand deliver it to a special crew member!"

"That's right, Molly! Mick and Larry thought we were deserving of our own gift! They were proud of all of our hard work and thoughtfulness, but we are not finished with our Christmas 'To Do List' yet! Let's write to Santa and tell him what we want for Christmas!"

This book will help us know what to write

"Let's write him a letter, and I'll tell him all of the things on my wish list! I will write, 'Dear Santa, my sister and I have been very good girls...'"

We did nothing wrong all year...kind of...

"Well, Molly, we should tell our readers how one of our Christmas wishes already came true! Princess Carina gave us two beautiful tiaras!"

"And she posed with us for a picture! We all looked stunning!"

Dreams do come true!

For all of you reading this today, whether writing to Santa, making wishes come true, or enjoying your family, make this holiday season a very special one! Remember to relax, have fun and be a gift to somebody out there!

We'll see you on the other side of the holidays!
Look for our blog in January!

We wish you a very Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year!

LOVE, Molly & Carter!

Molly & Carter's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 12

The 12th Day of Christmas!

Andrea Rolle - Human Resources Generalist

On the 12th day of Christmas my true love gave to me - a Titanic globe so pretty!

Why do we LOVE Andrea?! Not many people know it, but she is really funny! We get to share laughs and jokes all the time! She works at the corporate office, and she allows us to sit in her best, most comfortable chairs! Andrea has a very important job! She makes sure we get all of the quality crew members that we have been so blessed to have! All of the crew members that we have been gifting and boasting about have come through her doors first! You are doing a great job, Andrea!

We chose to give Andrea a Titanic Polar Bear Snow Globe! This globe made us think of Andrea because there is a mama bear and baby bear inside. She is soon to be a mama again! Maybe her bundle of joy will enjoy shaking up this snow globe when he is born!

Hello in there....can you hear me?

"Carter, the bears in there aren't alive. They can't hear you."

"But it looks like they are looking right up at me saying, 'Hello out there! Look at the beautiful snow!'"

"Snow? Let me see. Oooh...it looks like it's raining down Sonic ice!"

We love Sonic ice!

"Molly, wouldn't it be divine if it snowed like that on Christmas?"

"Yes! I had a dream about a white Christmas. It was early morning when we awoke from a deep sleep. Jamie was there, and Aunt Jaynee. They were wearing beautiful white gowns. We all sat together and giggled with excitement like little girls because we were going to open our gifts!"

Why are we in the MOD office?

"I don't know, Carter, it's a dream. There are always parts of the dream that don't make any sense! Now, where was I....oh yes, Princess Carina took me to the Christmas tree and told me to make a wish."

"Only pure wishes from a kind heart come true."

"She told me to close my eyes as I thought about my deepest, truest wish... when I opened them - there she was! She was holding out a tiara in each hand!"

"Molly, your wish was pure and true."

"Your deepest, truest wish was for a tiara!?"

"No Carter, my deepest, truest wish was to have a beautiful gift to give to you, and when I opened my eyes there was a tiara for you, but there was one for me too. What do you think it means?"

"I think it means that you have finally learned that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Before, all you wanted were your own gifts, including a tiara, but when you had the chance to ask for anything you wanted, you chose to ask for a gift for me! Because your wish was pure and true, you got the gift to give away, but you were also given a gift."

"Wow, Carter, you really are brilliant! I think we have both learned the true meaning of Christmas!"

How about you? Are you a giver of gifts? Would this Titanic Polar Bear Snow Globe be right for the Titanic princess in your family? Whatever the gift, make sure and give it with love - you might just be surprised how much comes back to you!

Molly & Carter's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 11

The 11th Day of Christmas!

Lorraine Gallacci - Admissions Crew

On the 11th day of Christmas my true love gave to me - some Titanic Cards to study!

Why do we LOVE Lorraine?! We remember from our first days here, Lorraine would come and snuggle and cuddle with us whenever she got the chance! Now, from our post in the ship, we can hear Lorraine tell our guests all about Milvina Dean, the Strauss', what was happening in 1912 and what prices were like back then. She is a wealth of information and she shares it with such conviction! We love to hear her speak!

We chose to give Lorraine a Titanic Collector Set of 72 Historic Cards! These cards reminded us of Lorraine because she is always learning, and studying, and growing in her knowledge of Titanic and her passengers!

She was thrilled with the gift!

"I love to study the Titanic! There is so much to learn! Sometimes we come in early and we refresh our memories for the day ahead! Miss Jaynee will begin the instruction."

"Carter, where was the Titanic built?"

"Then I get to answer! Belfast, Northern Ireland! Am I right!?"

"Yes! I got it right!"

"We then get to read books to make sure we give our guests accurate information!"

"Did you know there were dogs on Titanic?"

"And Carter, don't forget, we do field trips outside too and learn about the Titanic's length and height, about her size and weight, and her keel, and her steel plates!"

How long was the Titanic?

"I know! Titanic was 882 1/2 ft.! That's almost as long as three football fields!"

"And, Molly, during the day we can share what we know with our guests! Like how Frederick Fleet spotted the iceberg and rang the bell in the crow's nest."

"Iceberg, right ahead!"

"I love our work! We have the very important task of carrying on Titanic's legacy and sharing her stories with a new generation of passengers!"

Do you know someone who loves to study the Titanic and her passengers? This Titanic Collector Set of 72 Historic Cards might be the kind of gift they'd love!

Molly & Carter's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 10

The 10th Day of Christmas!

Heather DeBeer - Administrative Assistant

On the 10th day of Christmas my true love gave to me - a Titanic mug for coffee!

Why do we LOVE Heather?! Many a morning, when we've arrived at the Titanic, Heather is just arriving too, and she always makes sure to say hello to us! Sometimes, when we are leaving the ship at night, Heather let's us come into the MOD office and sniff around for lunch leftovers! She is always busy at her desk, doing whatever management needs, and she works diligently with our Titanic Web Store to ensure all items get out to the right people! Thank you Heather!

We chose to give Heather a pink Titanic Mug with a beautiful, sparkly filigree pattern on it! This mug made us think of Heather actively working on her computer - she might need some coffee to keep her alert and productive!

Are there any lunch crumbs in there?

"Molly, there is nothing like a nice, hot cup of coffee or tea to get the day started! I especially love to drink something warm on a cold, wintery day!"

"Do you remember when we had that tea party?! We were true 1st Class ladies - we even learned 'High Tea' etiquette! What was the first rule Carter?"

Place your hands in your lap - no elbows on the table!

"You were a natural, Molly, but all of those rules were hard to remember! I was stressed out!

Rule Number 2: Do not slurp your food or make any other sounds when you are eating!

Rule Number 3: Avoid talking with your mouth full unless it is an emergency!

Rule Number 4: Dab your napkin against your lips anytime you feel crumbs on your face, licking your lips is not acceptable!"

"That was a hard one for you."

"It was! AND I had to ask for permission before I excused myself from the table!"

All of those rules wore me out!

"Well I had a grand time, Carter! It was so much fun! And I loved the Titanic china that we got to use - what an exquisite set!"

"I think I'll stick with Heather and get a coffee mug!"

How about you? Would you join the ladies for 'Afternoon Tea' on Titanic, or would you be drinking some coffee in 3rd Class? Whether teacup or coffee mug, click the link below to find your own Titanic Drinkware!

Molly & Carter's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 9

The 9th Day of Christmas!

Mary Kaufmann - Cast Crew

On the 9th Day of Christmas my true love gave to me - a Titanic piece of jewelry!

Why do we LOVE Mary?! Since our first day on the job Mary has always gone out of her way to greet us! She loves to scratch us behind the ears and give us a good belly rub! Mary is an original crew member here at the Titanic! That means she has been here since the doors opened! Now that is loyalty and dedication! She always makes our passengers her first priority, coming to assist them with whatever they might need!

We chose to give Mary a darling Polar Bear Necklace! 1st Class passenger, "Daisy" Spedden, wrote a children's book called, Polar the Titanic Bear, and the necklace is just as precious as the story. Mary has a lovely granddaughter named Jewel that she can share this Titanic "Jewel"ry with!

I think this necklace might fit me!

"Molly, we already have beautiful necklaces that we get to wear every day!"

"But, Carter, a girl can never have too much jewelry! That is one of the perks of our job! We get to wear tiaras, sweaters, jewels, crowns, pretty bows in our hair and on our collars. I love it! But as much as I love wearing the jewelry, I love to give it away!"

"I know Molly. I am so glad we decided to give gifts to our crew! It has been loads of fun! And we are already on our 10th gift tomorrow! Remember last Christmas when we baked for the Humane Society Bake Sale? It felt so good to give!"

"I remember wearing those silly snoods to keep our ears clean and our hair out of the food!"

The sacrifices we make to help our fellow dogs!

"Even with the snoods, it was a fun night baking, and laughing, and thinking of the friends we would be helping! That's what Christmas is really about. Giving to others."

Carter is right. Gifts are acts of love that make people feel special. This Polar Bear Pendant Necklace might be just the gift for that special someone in your life! Shop the Titanic jewelry collection by clicking the link below.

Molly & Carter's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 8

The 8th Day of Christmas!

Crystel Hopkins - Corporate Assistant

On the 8th day of Christmas my true love gave to me - a Titanic book you should read!

Why do we LOVE Crystel?! Crystel has always been very kind to us. Whenever we enter the corporate office, she greets us with a smile! She has worn many hats over the years like us! From booking flights, to researching and analyzing, to filing papers and organizing office space - she does it all! She has also pursued degrees in higher education! She has the brains and the beauty - also like us!

We chose to give Crystel a Titanic book: Clive Cussler's Raise the Titanic! This book reminded us of Crystel because we know she loves to read and she loves to learn!

She was so happy to receive this gift!

"Carter, I just got through saying that we have brains and beauty, that we are classy, and look at that tongue again!"

"I do have brains and beauty Molly. I can clean my nose with my tongue and look pretty while I do it!"

"It looks like we may have to get back to Beauty 101, Carter, and Miss Jamie may have to give us (meaning you) classes in good manners!"

I like to read A Little Book of Cavalier Wisdom

"Now, this book by Karen and Roy Schoen will help us brush up on the basics: For example, this page teaches us to practice good personal hygiene. Some other tips: always strive to look your very best; accessorize to enhance your natural beauty; and dress appropriately for special occasions.....oh yes, and here it is: don't clean your nose with your tongue while being photographed!"

"Okay Molly, how is this shot - I look like a real supermodel!"

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful

"Carter, I really think our reading has paid off! You do look beautiful!"

Crystel has inspired us to be readers, and students too! We hope she enjoys reading Raise the Titanic! If you would like to get a book for the Titanic buff in your family, follow the link below!

Molly & Carter's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 7

The 7th Day of Christmas!
Phoebe Head - Cast Crew/Wardrobe

On the 7th day of Christmas my true love gave to me - a Titanic ship so fancy!

Why do we LOVE Phoebe!? Well, it should be obvious! Look at that gorgeous hair! It bears a striking resemblance to some other red heads we know! Apart from her good looks though, we love Phoebe's passion for everything Titanic! She is brilliant when it comes to remembering and sharing about the lives of the passengers! She knows a lot, but she also loves to learn more, read more, find more interesting, detailed, even bizarre Titanic facts! And she is also a skilled seamstress, not to mention a great cook! She sometimes brings her creations to the galley for us to sample! Yum!

We chose to give Phoebe a Titanic Trinket Box! It opens and closes to store your treasures, and there is even a surprise couple inside (think Leo & Kate). This ship made us think of Phoebe because she loves the Titanic and now she can have her own Titanic ship!

Look at the awe! She LOVED it!

"I thought the ship was beautiful! I was so interested to see how it worked and to peek inside! What were you thinking about Molly? You look like you were daydreaming?"

"Who? Me? Nothing...I was just um, I was thinking about the ship too."

"No. I know that look. You were thinking about him!"

"What? Who? I don't know what you're talking about..."

"Yes you do! You are in love with Phoebe's husband, Tommy! Let me find that picture.... aha! This picture is the proof! When you get that faraway look in your eye, I know who you're thinking about!"

It all started that rainy fall day in 2011

"Well, he does have shiny, red hair and he smells like kittens! He also admires me and gives me lots of hugs and kisses! It's ok though Carter, he loves you too."

"Well you know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and this picture says it all. Where's the love Molly? Where is the love?"

"Carter, this reminds me of the Titanic - Jack and Rose, and her fiancee - the love triangle; the rich and the poor, fate and destiny, heroism and cowardice!"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa Molly - here goes the 'flare for the dramatic' that you said you have. It's just a picture."

"Oh Carter, I know, but the true story of the Titanic really holds all of those things! That's what has made it so compelling to so many people. That ship was the true "Heart of the Ocean," and it is still a treasure to so many."

You're right Molly, and this gift giving is for a crew that recognizes the timeless beauty of those stories. Do you know someone who treasures Titanic and holds her close to their heart? This Titanic Trinket Box might just be the perfect gift!

Molly & Carter's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 6

The 6th Day of Christmas!

Jeromie Snavely - Reservations Department
On the 6th day of Christmas my true love gave to me - a Titanic clip for money!

Why do we LOVE Jeromie!? He always makes Molly & I laugh! He is very funny, but he is kind too. He works at the corporate office and he lets us sit on his desk! We also remember a very special time when he came to the ship. A young boy with special needs came into our doors and may have felt a little unsure of his surroundings. He held onto Jeromie’s hand. Jeromie let this young man hold his hand the entire time he was here! He was his personal guide! That touched our hearts and we love to tell that story to this day!
We chose to give Jeromie a Titanic Money Clip! This made us think of Jeromie because he likes fast, cool cars and he’ll need to save lots of his money to buy one! Don’t worry Jeromie! This clip will hold tons of money!
Woohoo! Here comes the money! He's excited!

"Carter, making a lot of money requires hard work! That is why I had Jeromie train me how to answer the phones in the Reservations Department!"

Hello. You've reached the Titanic. This is Molly. How may I help you?

"I was thinking the same thing Molly. While Jeromie was teaching you, I had Haley show me how to book the reservations on the computer! It was hard work, but I did it!"

Will you be boarding at 10 o'clock?

"Well, you know what that means don't you Carter!? We need our own money clips for all of that extra money we are earning! Bonus time here we come!"

Are you planning to be loaded with extra cash!? NOW is the time to prepare! You might want to check out this cool Collectable Titanic Money Clip!
(It's almost as cool as Jeromie's dream car!)
