Happy Thanksgiving Weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving to All!

"Well I am as stuffed as the turkey we ate!"

"Me too, Carter! Don't forget the mashed potatoes & gravy, fresh baked rolls, green bean casserole, candied yams,  stuffing, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie..."

"Stop, stop - oh my goodness - I'm getting sleepy, very sleepy..."

"That's what happens when you eat that much turkey! I told you to slow down!"

"I'm just going to lay here for a minute. Keep talking, Molly, don't let me lose consciousness."

"I know what you need - a Pumpkin Spice Latte!"

"Sounds delicious - but I can't, I can't - it won't fit."

"OK - then let's get out and do some Black Friday shopping, only on Thursday. We are having some GREAT deals in the Titanic gift shop this weekend, & I have my eye on some pieces of jewelry."

"FOR ME?! Aww, you shouldn't have!"

"I didn't."

"But you were going to."

"I wasn't."

"You're shopping for yourself?"

"Yes."

"That's very selfish."

"Well, bling is my thing, Carter. I can't help myself!"

"If you can't help yourself, Molly, then let me help you. You look ridiculous. Farm girls don't dress this way. We live in Kentucky now. You need to go 'au naturale' like me!"

"You're right, Carter, but retired life is hard. No TV commercials, no radio interviews, no fans or photographs - where do I look to find my value!"

"Ever the drama queen. Don't worry, Molly. Our memory lives on at Titanic. I even heard they have our Christmas postcards in the gift shop still."

"I suppose you're right, Carter."

"Besides, you have so much value right here. You are my sister, and I am thankful for you."

"That's sweet, Carter, but you know what everyone forgot? I'll whisper it in your ear..."

"Oh my goodness, Molly, you're right! Well, it doesn't matter when people forget things - I even forgot about that. It's not a day to complain, it's a day to be grateful!"

"OK, but let's just leave a hint in the following picture to gently remind people..."

WE JUST TURNED 6!

"That was very subtle, Molly."

"Well at least I didn't drop any hints about my Titanic jewelry wish list."

"Molly."

"OK, Carter - I am thankful! I am grateful! I am blessed, and I love you, my sweet sister."

"That's more like it. Now let's encourage our readers to do the same."

We want to remind you all how thankful we are for you! Remember to be grateful for every blessing in your life!

Happy Halloween!

"Well, Carter, it's time to dress up and go out trick-or-treating!"

"I definitely choose treats, not tricks! Do you think the people of Kentucky have prepared themselves to give treats to dogs, and not just children???"

"Of course! Once we moved here, the whole state had to make adjustments."

"Molly, you are a star, but you're not the President!"

"Ooooh...I never held that ambition, but it could be next on my bucket list."

"Your bucket list?"

"Yes, you know, things you want to do before you die."

"That sounds really morbid, but I guess if you ever get morbid, Halloween is the day to do it!"

"That's the spirit, Carter!"

"Today is a good day to talk about spirits too....remember when the Ghost Hunters came to Titanic to talk to dead spirits!!???"

"I remember an apparition that looked eerily similar to a certain sister of mine."

"He he he...don't tell them it was me, OK? I loved when they started to communicate with the Cavalier's doggie spirit...I should have asked them for some treats!"

"Speaking of treats, we should be getting ready for tonight!"

"What are we dressing up as?"

"Good guys... or girls, of course!"

"Aww, I wanted to be the outlaw this time."

"Maybe next year, Carter. You can put it on your bucket list."

"Speaking of buckets, have you seen mine? I need it to carry all of my treats tonight!"

"I've got it, Carter. Now let's get ready and go!"

Have a Happy & Safe Halloween Everyone!

Love,
Molly & Carter

You Thought We Were Only Joking!

Our Latest Adventure

"Well, this is it, Molly. We are really living the dream!"

"Who would have thought that two sisters from the south could become entertainers in the Live Music Capital of the Universe?"

"And we don't even sing or play music! Ha!"

"Not only that, we made it through our entire career without any scandals, addictions or burned bridges! Well, if I don't count your food addiction, Carter."

"OK, Molly, and I won't count your obsession with, um, well, with YOU!"

"Yes, yes, well that's all in the past now; however, I did think we looked pretty amazing riding in John & Mary's Escalade."

It was a sweet ride!

"And everyone thought we were joking when we talked about traveling the world and living up the retired life!"

"They sure loved us at the Kentucky border visitor center."

"Oh, that was the best...eating, running, playing, smelling the flowers."

"Everyone should stop and smell the flowers, Carter. If life is all about the destination then we miss the joy of the journey."

"That's deep, Molly."

"Yes, even I have deep thoughts, Carter."

"Me too. In fact, I was just thinking of how deep they piled my plate with food when we stayed at our luxury suite and had breakfast in bed. Now that was DEEP!"

"Ugh, Carter...you can remove the dog from the primitive, but you can't remove the primitive from the dog."

"Uhhh...that's deep too. Let's finish this up. I really need to take a trip to the grass if you know what I mean."

There's lots of grass in Kentucky!

"Yes, and I'm sure they are overjoyed to know you'll be making good use of it."

"Hey, we've already met Marvin the goat, Charlie the Schnauzer, and Ella the Tennessee Walker Horse - not to mention the 3 other Labs here."

"And your point?"

"They were already making good use of the grass before I ever showed up."

Someone's gotta fertilize the soil.

"OK, OK, Carter. Enough with the toilet talk."

"Who said anything about a toilet?"

"Never mind!"

"OK, Molly, whatever you say, but I think your age might be showing. I never even said the word toilet."

"Carter!"

"Sorry."

"Now let's get back to the sweet things I was talking about before, like smelling the flowers and enjoying life with our family."

...and with our new friends!

"Yes, and that brings me to my favorite part of this adventure..."

Being reunited with Matt?

"No."

Meeting Marvin?

"No."

Hanging with the girls?

"No."

"What was your favorite part of this adventure then?"

"When we grilled steaks outside and slept on the couch! Pure paradise!"

"You are a hopeless case, Carter!"

"No, I'm just a real dog living a dog's life!"

Stay tuned to hear more about our Kentucky adventures this fall y'all!

We are Retiring!

Our Dog Mascots - Molly and Carter will retire
this weekend - Saturday, July 26th!
It is with conflicting emotions that we announce the retirement of our mascots - Molly and Carter.  They have touched so many lives, and they have filled our hearts and our guests with love, joy, and smiles.  They have helped our crew share the story of the dogs aboard Titanic.
Their doctor has advised us that it is time they enjoy a real “dog's life”.   Matt Matney was their original trainer and friend who introduced us to these precious dogs.  He has requested to have them back on his farm, plus Molly's sister, Sapphira is there too.  Molly and Carter will have an opportunity to play and just be lazy.
This Saturday, July 27 will be their last day at the Titanic Museum Attraction.  Come visit us and say 'good-bye' to our lovely mascots!  With much appreciation.
Titanic Crew and her handlers,
 Kelli, Kelli & Kim.

4th of July Recap!

"We hope you all had a FABULOUS 4th of July weekend!"

"We sure did!"

"Of course YOU did, Carter! You got to visit the ship!"

"And it was SO MUCH FUN!"

"Well, a diva's gotta do what a diva's gotta do."

"And how was your 'Diva Day,' Molly, or should I say, 'Diva Week?'"

"It was very relaxing. Nothing like getting a Swedish massage from a French Bulldog while celebrating American freedom!"

"Wow, that's a lot of international effort right there."

"You know, we could go to France someday, or even to Southampton, England."

"Molly, that is a GREAT idea!"

"What if we traveled the same route as Titanic traveled?"

"What if we do it on the Titanic 2?"

"Maiden voyage?"

"Ummmm, I don't know if I could do that. You know, tempting fate and all that."

"You're right, Carter. But traveling around Europe is a nice idea!"

"Maybe we can book an end-of-summer tour!"

"I will check into it. In the meantime, we can always continue our Titanic journey right here at Titanic Branson."

"Not a bad idea, Molly. You know, I get the diva treatment from our passengers too. They give great massages AND I get to lay in their laps and snuggle."

"I can't argue with that, Carter. Our passengers are the best in the world!"

"And there will be so many this month!"

"I love July! It's when we get to form the most wonderful new friendships. I sure will miss all of this when we retire for good."

"Me too, Molly, but we always have each other, and I am thankful for that."

"Me too, Carter. You are the best sister in the whole wide world."

"You too, Molly - diva drama and all!"

Come share in the love this July! We'd love to spend time with you!

Molly & Carter

June Blast Off!

It is June and we have been given the "All Aboard!"
"It seems like it was just yesterday that we were sunbathing during the Father's Day Bass Pro Boat Show!"
"I know, Molly. Now, here we are almost one year later and it's coming up again!"
"And I still feel pudgy in all my bathing suits!"
"You're telling me!  I'm hoping the groomer doesn't shave us and expose all my rolls!"
"Well, I guess that's what happens to a dog in semi-retirement...oh no. What will happen when we are REALLY retired!?"
"Let's not think of that now, Molly. At least we are at the ship every weekend ALL SUMMER LONG! I kind of like this light schedule!"
"Yes, it does give us more time to watch TV. That reminds me! We have to watch JTV tonight! The Titanic Jewelry Collection is being featured tonight & tomorrow!"
They should have created a collar for dogs in the Astor collection.

"Absolutely right, Carter! We should suggest it!"
"If they make one in time you could wear it when Yvonne Hume visits the ship!"
"Wouldn't that be grand!? I could really look 1st Class!"
"Well, I don't know about that, but at least your appearance would be tolerable."
"Look who's talking Miss Pudgy Rolls!"
"It's more of me to love!"
"That's true, and I do love you. Do you think Yvonne would read the rough draft of my book? I just know it will be a best-seller! EVERYONE will want it!"

"Um....Molly, who helped you design this cover?"
"I did it. Why?"
"Oh, nothing..."
"What?"
"Well, it's just that you don't look very 'unsinkable' in that picture."
"But I'm on top of the ship, ya know, like...it didn't conquer me..."
"Mmmmm...no, not really the message I get. I wouldn't buy it."
"No?"
"No."
"OK, I guess it's back to the drawing board. I want to fix it before Yvonne sees it. She is a descendant of Titanic's John Law Hume, after all."
"Great idea! Let me know when you finish!"
And YOU let us know when you are coming to Branson! We love to spend time with our guests! Just message us on Facebook
We'll be right here to greet you!

Molly & Carter

The Case of the Missing Cookie

Caught on Camera!

"Carter, did you see the news!?"

"No, Molly. Why?"

"Oh, we've really done it now. I knew I shouldn't have listened to you!"

"What? What are you talking about?"

"The cookie! The one on the kitchen chair!"

"What about it? Did it make you gassy?"

"NO! No, no, no! We were caught on camera, and now the news is broadcasting our photo all over the television! We're caught, Carter. They know!"

"Whoa, calm down, Molly."

"I WILL NOT calm down. We've also put baby Grace at risk. They think she's our accomplice."

"Wow, that's not a very good picture of me. It looks like a mug shot of some low class criminal."

"Carter, we are going to have to get our PR person involved. Our reputation is at stake.... and that IS a terrible picture of you."

"Molly, I say we just come clean. How can anyone blame a dog for eating a cookie that was left out in the open?"

"But if momma Kelli sees this, she's going to figure out what happened to William's disappearing graham crackers...and his Cheez-its...and his fruit snacks."

"Do you think she'll put two and two together?"

"Yes, Carter! Oh - we've really made a mess of things. And we're supposed to be on a diet!!!"

"Molly! Pull yourself together! Let's just confess it all and ask for mercy....I mean, you can only eat bland, boring dog food for so long!"

"You're right, Carter. Our fans adore us and they will be forgiving. Let's post a darling, sweet photo on Facebook and confess our cookie crimes."

"How about this one with the captain's hats?"

"Perfect."

"And then let's commit to doing some exercise. Let's post a picture of us walking on a long trail."

"Oh, how about this one?"

"Perfect."

"Lastly, we just invite everyone to come see us in person on Memorial weekend. Once they pet us and look into our eyes they'll forget all about this betrayal of trust!"

"Geez, Molly, aren't you being a little dramatic?"

"No...well, maybe a little. I am gifted in that way."

"Well, since you're so gifted, what will we tell Momma Kelli?"

"Let's just tell her sorry...and then blame William for tempting us to sin!"

"Molly!"

"OK, we'll just say sorry. I think she'll forgive us."

"She will."

How about you? Come show us your love and support on Memorial weekend at the Titanic Museum Attraction in Branson, MO.

We'll be right here to greet you!

Molly & Carter

Our Latest Adventures

Hoppy Easter!

"What an amazing Easter we had, Molly! We got so many eggs!"

"Yeah, but we can't eat them!"

"We can't? Oops. What about the candy?"

"Nope."

"Double oops."

"Oh well, Carter, at least Easter is only once a year so I can let it slide this time....only if you promise not to tell anyone that I ate some candy too."

"My lips are sealed. Wait, is that why you started hopping around like a bunny? I thought that seemed a little strange for you."

Well, I'm not used to eating so much sugar!

"That's OK, Molly. You'll get plenty of exercise at the Grand Opening of the Elmo and Rosalea Marrs Memorial Dog Park this weekend!"

"I can't wait! It will be the biggest social event we've attended since our semi-retirement, and there will be LOTS of dogs there!"

"Molly, you can dress to impress. My heart belongs to one dog. His name is Brojan. Didn't he look dreamy this weekend?"

"Love that smile!"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. You two lovebirds left me out in the cold, but this weekend I could meet my prince charming!"

"Yes, maybe he'll be running in the Bark for Life. I love a dog that can give back to a good cause!"

"Maybe I should run too. What do you think, Carter?"

"I think you'd do better than me! I get winded walking around the block!"

Do you think Molly can run the race? Come find out at Stockstill Park this Saturday @ 10:00am

(P.S. You can bring your dog too....maybe he and Molly will, you know, become friends!)

Molly & Carter
