The 7th Day of Christmas!

Phoebe Head - Cast Crew/Wardrobe

On the 7th day of Christmas my true love gave to me - a Titanic ship so fancy!

 Why do we LOVE Phoebe!? Well, it should be obvious! Look at that gorgeous hair! It bears a striking resemblance to some other red heads we know! Apart from her good looks though, we love Phoebe's passion for everything Titanic! She is brilliant when it comes to remembering and sharing about the lives of the passengers! She knows a lot, but she also loves to learn more, read more, find more interesting, detailed, even bizarre Titanic facts! And she is also a skilled seamstress, not to mention a great cook! She sometimes brings her creations to the galley for us to sample! Yum!

We chose to give Phoebe a Titanic Trinket Box! It opens and closes to store your treasures, and there is even a surprise couple inside (think Leo & Kate). This ship made us think of Phoebe because she loves the Titanic and now she can have her own Titanic ship!

Look at the awe! She LOVED it!

"I thought the ship was beautiful! I was so interested to see how it worked and to peek inside! What were you thinking about Molly? You look like you were daydreaming?"

"Who? Me? Nothing...I was just um, I was thinking about the ship too."

"No. I know that look. You were thinking about him!"

"What? Who? I don't know what you're talking about..."

"Yes you do! You are in love with Phoebe's husband, Tommy! Let me find that picture.... aha! This picture is the proof! When you get that faraway look in your eye, I know who you're thinking about!"

It all started that rainy fall day in 2011

"Well, he does have shiny, red hair and he smells like kittens! He also admires me and gives me lots of hugs and kisses! It's ok though Carter, he loves you too."

"Well you know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and this picture says it all. Where's the love Molly? Where is the love?"

"Carter, this reminds me of the Titanic - Jack and Rose, and her fiancee - the love triangle; the rich and the poor, fate and destiny, heroism and cowardice!"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa Molly - here goes the 'flare for the dramatic' that you said you have. It's just a picture."

"Oh Carter, I know, but the true story of the Titanic really holds all of those things! That's what has made it so compelling to so many people. That ship was the true "Heart of the Ocean," and it is still a treasure to so many."

The 6th Day of Christmas!

Jeromie Snavely - Reservations Department

On the 6th day of Christmas my true love gave to me - a Titanic clip for money!

Why do we LOVE Jeromie!? He always makes Molly & I laugh! He is very funny, but he is kind too. He works at the corporate office and he lets us sit on his desk! We also remember a very special time when he came to the ship. A young boy with special needs came into our doors and may have felt a little unsure of his surroundings. He held onto Jeromie’s hand. Jeromie let this young man hold his hand the entire time he was here! He was his personal guide! That touched our hearts and we love to tell that story to this day!

We chose to give Jeromie a Titanic Money Clip! This made us think of Jeromie because he likes fast, cool cars and he’ll need to save lots of his money to buy one! Don’t worry Jeromie! This clip will hold tons of money!

Woohoo! Here comes the money! He's excited!



"Carter, making a lot of money requires hard work! That is why I had Jeromie train me how to answer the phones in the Reservations Department!"

"I was thinking the same thing Molly. While Jeromie was teaching you, I had Haley show me how to book the reservations on the computer! It was hard work, but I did it!"

"Well, you know what that means don't you Carter!? We need our own money clips for all of that extra money we are earning! Bonus time here we come!"

Molly and Carter's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 5

The 5th Day of Christmas!

David Parker - Captain 

On the 5th day of Christmas my true love gave to me  - a Titanic glass you MUST see!

Why do we LOVE Captain David!? Who wouldn't love the Captain of the Ship of Dreams!  You would think he is too busy to visit with the dogs down in 3rd class, but he always makes time to see us and say hello. We feel very special when he does that and so do our guests. I love to watch young boys suddenly realize who is standing before them as they see the shoes, the loooong pants, the stripes on the uniform, up to the bearded face, then the Captain's hat. What wide eyed wonder strikes them as he bellows out his first greeting! And when he tells the story of Titanic's maiden voyage, our passengers listen as they would to one speaking with authority! It's marvelous to behold!

We chose to give Captain David a Titanic Pilsner Glass! It is tall and slender, and it has a Titanic seal on it! This was our pick for the Captain because we could picture him on his fishing boat enjoying a nice, ice cold glass of, um, iced tea! Enjoy Captain! 

He really liked the gift!

"Molly, I see you have been taking lessons from me and you used some big, fancy words for your blog today!"

"Speaking of lessons Carter, do you remember when Captain David and Officer Mick taught us how to steer the ship!?" 

"Yes! I got to take the wheel while you were off in the Bahamas taking your vacation! When you returned you wouldn't stop asking the Captain for your turn to learn!" 

Captain David showed me what to look for!

"And learn I did! They said I was excellent at the helm!"

"Wow! You really did learn some big, new words! Next, I'll have to teach you how to give a 'high five' so you can really be in with the Captain like me." 

 

I am always in tight with the Captain!

 

"That's ok Carter. I am already in with Maddy."

"Maddy?"

"Yes, you know, the Captain's granddaughter? Oh, that's right. You weren't there when she came to see me and held me in her arms, and smiled from ear to ear as she held me like a baby." 

 

It's all about who you know

"Oh! I want to be held like a baby! Will you ask her to comeback and see us Molly?"

"I'll see what I can arrange. I'll talk to the Captain next time I am out on his fishing boat enjoying an ice cold glass of tea!"

"Maybe he'll let you use his new glass!"

I can ask Mama Kelli to get us a Titanic Pilsner Glass too! It will be a grand adventure! The boat, the Captain, his girls, Maddy and Patty, some cold drinks, cruising out on the lake!

Molly & Carter's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 4

The 4th Day of Christmas!

Jennifer Sandoval - Cast Crew

On the 4th day of Christmas my true love gave to me - a Titanic gift in 3D!

Why do we LOVE Jennifer!? Most people don’t know this, but Jennifer has worked in almost every department of the ship! We love to listen to her out in the Train Station. She has a nice, smooth voice as she tells our guests about their boarding passes and audio players, and then she gets them boarded onto the ship in no time! She helps our guests in the Train Station, but she also comes to visit us when we are outside too! She will cuddle and hug and snuggle to stay warm! It’s the best!

We chose to give Jennifer the Titanic 3D Puzzle! This is a 178 pc. wooden puzzle of the Titanic! Jennifer has three beautiful children that can help her assemble this masterpiece!

That wood smell reminds us of the wood chips outside!


"Remember Molly when we used to come down from the highway for our Noon Presentation and mama Kelli had to try to keep us from eating all the fresh wood chips they brought in for the flowers?"

"Carter, I remember the time you had snuck one in your mouth and you kept your mouth closed so tight! She knew something was up because you are never quiet! Remember the innocent look you gave her!?"

"Oh, oh - was it this look?"

"Who me? I have nothing to hide."

"That's the look! But she held out her hand and said 'open your mouth,' and you got in trouble!"

"Well, I won't eat the puzzle if she gets us one for Christmas! I promise! I learned my lesson!"

We are learning a lot of lessons from all of this gift giving too! Erickia is teaching us how to put together her puzzle. Rod is teaching us how to model and strike a pose, and Jennifer can show us how to do a puzzle in 3D! I think it is really true what they say about it being more blessed to give than to receive! The more we give, the more we learn! The more we give, the more we make people smile! The more we give, the more WE smile!

Molly & Carter's 12 Days of Christmas- Day 3

The 3rd Day of Christmas!

Rodney Dobie - Cast Crew

On the 3rd day of Christmas my true love gave to me - a Titanic hat you all need!

Why do we LOVE Rod!? Rod always takes time out of his day to give us belly rubs – and they are good belly rubs! We love him for showing us attention, but he also shows all of our guests his attention as well. He is expert in presenting detailed, historical information to our passengers! Our passengers and our crew can pose any question to him about Titanic, and if he doesn’t know it already he will research until he finds the answer! Now that is commitment!

We chose to give Rod a Titanic hat! It is very sharp looking with black and gold lettering! This hat reminded us of Rod because he could be a model for men's apparel! Just look at that face!

They should transfer Rod to the gift shop to sell hats!

Do you see what I mean? That's a model's face! Carter and I were both trying to make our lips do that, but I guess you have to be what they call "a natural."

"Hey Molly, I am a natural at singing! Do you want to hear my version of the 12 Days of Christmas!? Here it goes..."

"On the 3rd Day of Christmas my true love gave to me - a man named Rodney Dobey!"

"Carter! Act like a lady! And that's not how the song goes! And close your mouth!"

"I know but I like my version! And I just had my teeth cleaned so my smile sparkles!"

Okay Miss Sparkles, moving right along now.... Rod was really surprised when we called him to the Christmas tree to receive his gift! He even said he had been wanting a Titanic hat! We are good at this gift giving thing!

The Second Day of Christmas!

Erickia Beaudin - Cast Crew

On the 2^nd day of Christmas my true love gave to me – a Titanic Puzzle – what glee!

Why do we LOVE Erickia?! Let’s just say she is all about the guests! From our kennel we can watch Erickia teach the boys to bow, teach the girls to curtsey, and she makes sure every child knows how to salute the crew! Are you a teacher Erickia?! Yes – a great teacher of Titanic’s stories, and, well, could you show us how to put this puzzle together?

We chose to give Erickia a Titanic Museum Puzzle! It is a 150 pc. puzzle of our ship here in Branson! Erickia told us her family works on puzzles and we wanted to give her a gift that would cultivate her family relationships!

Erickia absolutely LOVES the gift!

"Carter how is it that you know all of these fancy words like 'curtsey,' and 'cultivate,' and 'relationships,' and you are always doing something silly in your photos! Look at this one! Your tongue is sticking out!"

"I was hoping no one would notice that."

"Well, it's very obvious."

"You look upset in the picture. I think you want to use big, fancy words like me. Don't worry. I can teach you Molly."

"Hmpf."

"Now, on to the blog I was writing..."

I could tell by the look in Erickia's eyes that she was excited to get home and start on that puzzle! I really hope she does teach us how to put one together! Would you like to put a puzzle together?

The First Day of Christmas! 

Somer Jones - Admissions Crew

On the 1^st day of Christmas my true love gave to me – a Titanic bear so pretty!

Why do we LOVE Somer?! First, she is a natural beauty like us! Seriously though, she gives us the best kisses and hugs! We were so excited when she joined the crew, and it’s no wonder! She is sweet, loving, smart, and always makes our guests smile!

We chose to give Somer a Titanic Plush Bear! It is the Captain Bear! This bear reminds us of Somer because it is cute and cuddly!

Somer was so surprised when we gave her a present!

"Molly, why did you put this picture in the blog? It looks like I am going to bite her nose!"

"Stay out of my blog Carter. We are taking turns. Remember?"

"Ok, but I really love Somer and I want everyone to know that I was laughing in this picture because she was so surprised... and I was going to give her a kiss! It really is fun to give gifts!"

"Carter..."

"Ok, I am leaving now..."

I think Mama Kelli should get us this plush toy! It smells good!

As I was saying, this cute bear reminds us of Somer, and I really think she loved the gift! This was a great idea. My sister Carter is really kind and she is smart sometimes too!
